Its a shame really as there were some great postings and great moments during 2002/2003 but as fortunes changed in 2004 DL became a bit of a control freak for those who wanted to vent their voice and lash out out some of the problems within the club.

I thought I had the same problem ferret. If you tried to use the automated response password reminder it will not work. You have to register again each year as the comp gets cleaned out and started afresh each year.

No circles purple red or even ochre (yeeeuch did I say ochre)

Apart from the fact this is the first time I have posted in this thread, and havent defended Shane at all - you keep believing my paranoid friend.

Better check under the bed for some of the purple circle before you sleep however, they are nasty little fellows who are watching you the whole time.

And I am sure you have something negative to say, well, about everything.

How long ago was it that we started sparring anyway - or is it best not to know and feel old/sad?

Greg emailed evryone back to say that some BS application was rejected by GHWA but they were making further enquiries then on Tuesday this was bought to my attention.
It seems the purple circle at DL went ahead & infact purchased a greyhound , nothing against they did it but the fact they did it without telling the people who originally expressed interest . That dog is gonna get hammered on thursday night & really I cant wait till the Western Front chews them for supper.

I have just read the post from dockerusa or someone about Shanes tongue in cheek comments on(dare I say it)dockerland.
Fair dinkum some of you people have got to get a sense of humour.If you read the site properly then you would realise that a lot of what is on there is all in fun.There are many who post seriously but a lot a said in jest.
I post on as many sites as I can,but some people who have had post deleted make it a personal thing.I have had posts deleted from the dockerland site but still go back because of the QUALITY of a lot of the posters on there.The same applies here some good posters.
BUT on all sites there are people who I believe have absolutely no idea about our game.There is a fair amount of garbage written on all sites.
It is amazing how many people bag the dockerland site but I bet you all go back to see what is posted on there for a good read then come here and complain about what is said on there.
Lets face it it is still by far the BEST unofficial Docker site.
Oh and how many of you who whinge about D/L post in there under another nickname?Be interested to know.
It will be intersting to read the negative comments that surely will come from my post(if it remains on the board)from the harshly done done by deleted posters from dockerlad.

I think your having a Special section for Dockerland posts must say something about how good the site is.I rest my case.

Yes I am about to merge this thread, dockerusa thread all into the big dockerland thread. I am just waiting on one of the bigger mods to get back to me on how to do it properly, as I have never had to merge a thread before.

Having a special section for dockerland posts was brought about due to a few individuals hijacking threads that have nothing to do with dockerland and turning them into a "Is dockerland a good site" debate.
For the sake of this board I decided to make all dockerland posts go into the one thread.

I thought you pussied out on being a Freo fan so what do you care?

Anchor Man I agree with you to an extent, but you have completely missed the real gripes which a lot of us Dockerland haters have.

I personally don't find the humour even close to funny but you'd never find me having a full on gripe about that. What I hate is the way that freedom of speech and opinion is crushed to the same extent as it was in Nazi Germany, giving the impression that all Dockers fans think like Shane Richmond and the rest of the messageboard elite.

Apart from that I have very little problem with the site.

Sure it's his site so he has a right to do what he likes, but I also have a right not to like it, and express my opinion, especially if I feel it is damaging the reputation of a group which I am a part of (i.e. Freo fans).

So to those of you telling us to get over it; right back at you. If you don't like us saying what we think of Dockerland, feel free not to read it or respond to it, like I have done with Dockerland.

P.S. I had to say this, how lame are those little purple anchors they're selling on the site, especially considering how much Greg talked them up in the article!

My Behaviour on that thread typifies the way I feel when Fremantle put in pathetic performances. It is very clear that the team can play very very good football. (V Melbourne and Collingwood) I however despise insipid soft and pathetic performances. (V Richmond, and in last Q's of other games)

Mate I am a Freo supporter whether you like it or not. I demand a level of performance and I demand it consistantly. If you are willing to condone the weak effort in the last quarter against Essendon you have issues.

This Football Club has never performed. It has no respect among the football public.

I will be supporting this club when it finally earns respect. The players are there and have the quality. If there heads are ever in the right place for more than 3 weeks I may be happy.

Until then you han be a happy camper supporting an underperforming bunch of prima donnas'. I will support them but not happily.


If you are not in the clique at Dockerland and somehow turning blue because that is what you really desire then you have problems. This Community is good because you have freedom of speech and you can interact with other supporters. There seems to be a fear of other supporters ruining the contrived atmosphere at Dockerland. They would ruin it too, Shane could not use Freo's performances to back himself up. The place would not be respected.
