G'day people

Me, I play for the Marangaroo Roos in the WAAFL on Saturdays. We've got E Grade and E Reserves teams (anyone interested?). This is the 5th season since our club was formed. We were the F grade premiers last year.:D

Go ROOS!!!

Anyone else out there playing (or have done)?

Only kick to kick with a few friends at the park.

I'm hoping Woosha will drive past one day, be impressed with my obvious talent and draft me the next year.
Or at the very least place me on the rookie list.

I'll be looking to make my debut against the Dockers, where I shall dominate and kick at least eight goals.

I'll probably retire early (say 25-26) and start my new career in the media. Then at around 29-30 I'll make a comeback and lead the team to another premiership.

Sorry if I'm not meant to reply to this as I am a Hawk fan, lol.

I play for Mooroolbark in the Eastern Football League in Melbourne Victoria.

I play U16s and I am in my fifth season with about 60 games under my belt.

I wear no.7 and usually play full-back or ruck.

Go Eagle's Debut: Age 8
Go Eagle's Retirement: Age 13 :D

Troy Wilson's AFL debut at age 29 has inspired me a little to perhaps one day make a comeback to the game, but for now I'll stay a spectator.

I play colts for the Albany Royals, the same team that Gary Stocks, one of the eagles media guys, played for in about 2-3 premierships, and also 1-2 league premierships, the same team that bred michael gardiner (also unfortynately made a mistake in playing greg harding:S)

Shame on you, Go eagle. I managed 8 till 15.. Chris Connolly keeps calling me and asking me if i'm interested in having a kick, but i don't know, i just feel that playing with those blokes would bring me down- their skill level just don't cut it :D

Played Juniors with Elizabeth from 10
Started at Redcliffe at 13 till 17
Played J Grade amateurs for ANZ bank (won premiership first season)

Retired at 20 due to back injury against Girrawheen

Coached Redcliffe under 10s
Coached Lynwood - Ferndale under 15s
Coached Melville WAWAFL 1988-1989

Now just an armchair coach......:)

Well i started armchair coaching from around about 10 years old and im now into my 12th season of armchair coaching.

I armchair coached the West Coast Eagles to two premierships in 92 and 94 :D

Never played, played basketball since i was strong enough to pick a ball up! Loved it, stopped playing a couple of years back because all my friends couldnt be bothered playing anymore. Currently trying to make a comeback, a Jordanesque comeback me thinks!

J Grade?!?!?
I didn't know such a grade even existed! ;)

I'm an armchair coach too. Funnily enough I've always laid claim to coaching the '92 & '94 teams too.... Must have been a joint effort! :D
