Over/under on the amount of times he will be called Tom Dyson in his first year?
If he happens to get drafted to the Power, his name will be the entire subject of his Adelaide press conference and post-draft interview on 5AA, such is the lofty standards of journalism in this place.

saw him training a few weeks ago, covers the ground with ease sort of like wellingham but more skillful, a lot of class with how he plays. Also made note he seems to have elite flexibility... wierd thing but pretty amazing he must do pilaties or something i reckon he could do the splitz.

A better comparison would be Black Pendlebury or Watson when I seen him.

WHats his weakness?

Don't know why he isn't in the top 3, could see him becoming the best out of the mids in this draft

but i haven't seen much of Congilio

Dom is very good at everything but to me he doesn't have that x factor that would make me pick him over Wingard, Coniglio or Patton.

Those three poses real game breaking ability and it's no knock on Dom to say they are better players than him it's just the way it is in my opinion.

Spot on.:thumbsu: But Dom isn't the fastest of players if I remember correctly But he certainly makes up for it.

Wingard and Conigilio have excellent pace if I recall. Excellent dodging and weaving skills, everything you'd see in a Judd, Ablett etc. The comparison to Black is so correct it's creepy. He is an amazingly consistent performer who can let off a freakish handball out of a 3 man deep pack, or pin point pass a man out of a group of opposition players, but you wouldn't see him with a burst of brilliant pace, breaking through a pack, smack through an opponent, showing a clean pair of heels to another and bang a goal on the run from 50.

Basically... he is that player that every team needs, someone you can trust to perform to an elite stand (ala Black, Dal Santo even Robert Harvey in a way)... but wouldn't necessarily be recognised as the one who kicked the goal or laid that tackle to win the game... He is the consistent, humble player, I'd like to go see play. The footballer's footballer that you'd want your kids to base their game off.

That last paragraph was bit... yeaah... but you get my point.

I'd take Dom at 3 if I was GWS, I was hoping he would slip to the bulldogs but now I see there's no chance of that happening. He will be a star.

Dom is going to go #3, Wingard #4. I can just sense it. Both are going to be big, but Wingard is going to be huuuuuge, if he gets it together.

Wingard has not played much footy of late but was told he has minor ankle problem and has hit the gym, has put on substantial muscle which he needed around the 80kg mark. Also think GWS will want Longer on their list as well.

Dom has had an outstanding season. He totally destroyed the stingray mids on the weekend and is surely the best player in TAC for 2011. i look forward to watching him in the big league!

I think he might push ahead of Wingard into the top 3 for GWS!

What is his first name Dominic or something or did his parents decided to name him Dom for some ****ed up reason?

I went through primary school with Dom and he was one of my closest friends. I also played junior footy with him.

First of all his name is Dominic but he much prefers Dom. (His parents are nice people they wouldn't do that haha)

Secondly, he always dominated junior comps, I knew he was gonna be big.

I reckon he's heading to GWS, pick 3 most likely. Patton 1, Coniglio 2 and then Dom. Longer and Dom together looked so good for Vic Metro and if GWS can snaffle the big ruckman with pick 5 or 7 those two plus power and coniglio in the middle will be a force to be reckoned with.
