First let me say, by way of full disclosure I AM a US citizen and can and DO vote.

In answer to your question - No I'm not suggesting that - I'm stating categorically that I don't believe he does.

Democrats decided they were going to impeach him 19 minutes after he was elected on Nov 8, 2016 - then they went looking for something to try to impeach him over. Russian collusion was a bust so then they pulled the Ukrainian phone call out of their rear and went all in on that. I am not a Trump lover (or even supporter - in fact I think he is a despicable human being of questionable morals at best) but if Trump deserves to be investigated for this (and yes I've actually read the transcript) then every past president and every future president deserves to be investigated and impeached also.

Best way to not go through an impeachment process if they are out to get you?

Don't do illegal s**t.

Most popular politician in America is comparable to Bill Shorten

In the last American and Australian we've heard that 'so and so will romp it in anyway' and how's that turned out?

Bernie wasn't even popular enough to gain the support of his own party over a crook.

Don't do illegal s**t have the temerity to win a presidential election when the Democrats thought they had it in the bag.

FTFY - I suspect we'll have to agree to disagree (on US politics at least). :)

From my moderately amateur observations

It seems the Democrats don't think they can turn the pro-trump crew against the Republicans

If they have any hope of winning next year it's to activate the apathetic ones who didn't vote in 2016

Still intriguing to see if they'll end up moderate or socialist with their candidate, I can't get a read on that yet

Agree - Biden whilst trying to portray himself as moderate keeps stumbling further and further left and all other candidates (besides Tulsi Gabbard) are to the left of him. Of all the Dems Tulsi Gabbard is the most moderate and rational but unfortunately I think she'll probably have to drop out soon. Cheers.

This is the appeal of Bernie Sanders.

In a system like ours with compulsory voting, you can win just by the majority of voters seeing you as the lesser of two evils. In a system with voluntary voting like the US, you can't just be less s**t than the other guy, you actually have to inspire your own supporters. Bernie inspires people. Nobody is getting inspired by Joe ****ing Biden.

Fair enough they match Trump for lying and arrogance but I never thought they were as dangerous to peace tho'.

Agree - Arrogance and lying is almost a job requirement for politicians so Trump is no orphan there. I was intrigued by your thought that Trump is "dangerous ['to peace']" however - how so? He has consistently voiced his reluctance to get involved in overseas conflicts and has worked to ratchet down tensions with China and North Korea despite significant provocation by those same players.

And reduced the Isis threat to a blood stain in the desert sands. I can't think of a less volatile world over the last 30 years. He even had the Dems warmongering over his withdrawal of troops from the Turkish border.

I got nervous over his brinkmanship and loose language to Nth Korea and the rocket man gibe given that US allies Sth Korea
and Japan were likely going to be needlessly sucked into any retaliation.
He is about to sign out of a 35yr world-wide agreement on air space usage to monitor weapons and troop movements.
A move so-called experts say may lead to a new arms race. NATO is under pressure from the US drawing down it's money commitment
to goad Euro nations to pony up their dues. Likely all true but his language is combative and his hair triggered tweets have me on edge.
Hopefully his term/s will not see any catastrophe.

There aren’t many spring chickens in the field but I would have a hard time voting for an 80yr old.

I think you're being overly and unnecessarily anxious. I don't think Trump is any greater danger to world peace than any other past president. Not sure how old you are but I remember clearly the prophets of doom proclaiming similar fears when Reagan won the presidency...according to many he was a "war monger who was going to take us into a nuclear war with the USSR" with his crazy Star Wars initiative and provocative statements to "tear down this wall". That didn't turn out too bad. Likewise Kennedy with the Cuban missiles - that was fairly combative but the alternative was equally unacceptable. Sometimes when dealing with bullies it's best not to show your hand and keep your adversaries guessing - even thinking that you're a bit crazy and could do something irrational. If a bully knows you're a die hard pacifist they'll take advantage and exploit that position.

More important things to worry about...like how to get rid of Kern...can we impeach HIM?

Yeah Bill is only dangerous if you are a teenage girl between 13 and 15.

He's only 5 years older than Trump. And I'm pretty confident he's more mentally all there than Trump is.

If you ignore the doddering old coot saying he’d ordered a first strike against the Soviets into a hot mic in 1984, sure.

One thing I wouldn't accuse Trump of is being a warmonger. He doesn't care enough about what's going on in other countries to bother going to war with them.

It's all the other horrifying and/or ridiculous s**t he says and does that I'm worried about.

Muller gave the Democrats 10 triggers to pull. But they were a too scared, as a lot of them would have involved Hillary being involved and the DNC emails being regurgitated in public. For those who don't know the 10 instances of possible obstruction of justice see;

Don McGahn - White House Legal Counsel for Trumps first 22 months in office, is the guy that should be forced to talk. So far he has refused to adhere to the subpoena to testify before the House Judiciary Committee, and is challenging in the courts, probably in front of a judge he helped Trump appoint.

I quite like Mayor Pete Booty-judge
Wouldn't surprise me if he got the Democrat's nomination. Look at the polls in Iowa at the moment.

He is basically half the age of Biden, Sanders and Warren.

I wonder if he is in touch with ScoMo's Quiet Australians. His Harvard undergraduate thesis - where he finished magna cum laude was titled - The Quiet American's Errand into the Wilderness.
