I saw Ross Lyon leave at 3/4 time last Friday, presumably to go on a Doogs hunt.

Either that, or he'd seen enough to know that they wouldn't have much trouble this Friday.

I've been pondering the fact that the name Doogs, while conveying affection doesn't quite do justice to a man who inspires tingling in the ladies and a mixture of fear, jealousy and love in the men. A man who inspires such a sense of loss in eagles supporters they can only lash out in a confused misunderstanding (what good's a premiership with no McD to keep you warm at night?). A man kind of like Shaft but cooler. So with a nod to Rocco's Return of the Mac idea above (and excuse me if this idea's been had before) but this week I'd like to forget any past notions we've had of a mere mortal called Doogs, and want to see brought into the seniors -

That's enough Droog Butane. I understand your passion but we can't turn on eachother. How would Doogs feel knowing his Droogs are fighting? He would be depressed enough having to travel to Werribee.

I'll be keeping my Doogs badge in my pocket just in case he is a late change.

I spoke to a Doctor, he said the 2nd strongest man on Earth would have had to go to hospital if he had the same injury as Doogs. Remember, this guy is a Doctor!

First Doogs gets dropped from the Bulldogs side, an injustice that makes Nelson Mandela, that Hurricane movie with Denzel Washingon and the family in 'In the name of the father' look like a bunch of sooky, sooky la la's. Then Doogs has to not only deal with having to go to places like Werribee and Ballarat but also be a victim to an evil conspiracy.

Is Doogs contracted for next year? I am surprised he's not playing this week. If he's not contracted next year already i'll be surprised if he'll be on the list. There seems to be no committment to him. A bit like Faulkner.

I think he'd be signed on for next year, and I can't see us getting rid of him either way- he's been doing well for Werribee and until his opportunity comes up for a senior selection, we can't ask any more of him.
