Are there any good sites to download from with cable/broadband/adsl internet besides Mirc. All the p2p go way too slow for my liking and lag around at 5 or 10 kb/s.

No - it uses the eDonkey network. The fastest (once you've got some uploads under your belt, which is easy enough - just leave anything you download in the folder for a couple of weeks) and most stable p2p client I've seen.

It's also entirely open source, which means that you can go look at all the code if you'd like - no maliciousness or corporate sneaking.

my kazaalite still works really well.

downloaded November Rain (again) the other day in just over a minute.

usually goes at 40 - 100 KB's for me.

Yeah but im looking for 400-800 KB's like i get from Mirc. Call me greedy

unless your gonna be downloading software there really isn't any need to go that quick. at 40KB a song will download in under a minute.

in either case my cable goes at 500KB/sec max i think.......... doesn't really bother me.
