Any chance of winning a major race in the Spring? Ran a fairly amazing race on Saturday to run 2nd after nearly falling in the first 300m.

I rate it highly and feel as though a nice long spell will do wonders to it over the winter..

I don't think he's demonstrated he can stay, and he doesn't have the class for races over a shorter distance. I think the current Brisbane campaign will be where he finds his optimum performance.

Dracs Back has only had 16 starts for 6 wins which is fairly lightly raced for a potential staying horse. Weir believes it'll be a better staying horse than She's Archie.

It'll have to run a special sort of race to beat Desert War (providing it jumps well this time) and Reigning to Win in the Doomben Cup, but it should come back stronger after a spell in the winter, and will be one to watch in the spring.
