* said he's a tough, versatile defender who could eventually play midfield. Has neat skills and was unlucky to miss out on AA

Parkin said Armfield "would play in carlton's 1's next year"...

Clinton then asked him what to expect from the blues next year, to which parko replied "6-8 wins would be their aim"

On if we'd play finals in '09.... Parko thought about it and replied "yes"...

My mate works for Hyundai and was at some big function last week obviously relating to the sponsorship deal. Steven Icke apparently spoke and said the Blues were aiming for 8 wins in 2008.

Which I think is a good aim. That would be genuine progress. 8 wins, less thrashings, and a stepping stone/development year to get more serious in 2009.
