Help Drafts Not Saving

I've noticed that my thread drafts aren't saving despite the autosave icon appearing.
This has resulted in me loosing threads that have taken me a long time to write and I have to start all over again.

I would clear your browser cookies, make sure you have JavaScript switched on etc.

Hi do you think this is also a similar problem to the following which I'm having? I begin to add content to a post, then alt-tab to collect my links or copy a phrase from an alternate report. And when I return, the dialogue box decides to just close in front of me. Everything entered prior is lost. Seems it happens when editing new data into an existing post - the same error happens with new posts, but the text already entered remains available in the quick reply box, at least.
