I went to bed the other night and had a strange feeling come over me. I knew I was in bed and I was not asleep, yet I felt completely disconnected from myself as though my body was separate to my mind. I had no control over my movements (even though I was perfectly still) and as best as I can describe it, felt no physical feeling. Eventually I fell asleep and a dream that has been on my mind since. I was in a room I'd never been in before, in a bed. I looked out the glass sliding door on my left to a balcony, where I saw a vivid purple sky that seemed other-worldly. I took out a phone to take a photo of this sky and what I saw on the screen was just a reflection of myself holding the camera. I turned the camera around thinking maybe it was just on the front facing camera and still only saw my reflection on the screen. I then lowered down the phone and noticed what I was seeing was not reality, but I was still seeing it. I started to walk back inside but as I made my first few steps I hit an invisible wall. I then held the camera up and saw a completely different place to what I was seeing with my eyes. I woke up the next morning and felt so strange, like I was supposed to take meaning from it somehow.

I would like hear anything you might like to say about your dreams. Maybe you have recurring dreams or dreams that have predicted the future, even the next day. I have a few recurring dreams but it's strange because I can't actually remember them until I have them, when I'm in it I'll wake up the next day and know that I've had that dream before but I wouldn't be able to recall them again until I have another one.

I quite frequently have dreams that reveal something about the future.
If I have a dream about the Broncos in game, they always win the game, no mater if they were winning or losing in my dream, v weird. But sometimes I will wake up and have the feeling and know that we will lose. Happened in 2013/14 playoffs each game (2 dreams then woke up feeling a loss for the SB)

Dreams are such a boring thing to tell someone. Unless they dreamed of rooting them and they're telling you.

Saying that.... I had a recurring one for months. I was in a bed, looking out the flyscreen against this colourbond fence. Someone kept walking past. Like they did continual laps of the fence. But all you could see was their shadow and maybe the top of their head. It was actually frightening, but then it just stopped one night. I don't read into dreams at all, but it was bizarre, and it'd be interesting to see why people have the same dream constantly.

When I was little, I had this reoccurring dream. I was sitting in the back of a car, black leather seats, tinted windows, and a family friend of mine was driving. I was playing with my Hot Wheels cars (as I said, I was quite young when I had this dream), and the door would always open, one my cars would always fall out and I would always chase after it. We were a busy freeway at night. I would fall out of my car and then get hit by an oncoming car. I would always wake up from the shock of being hit by the car.

i had a dream the other night that muslims had beheaded Queen Elizabeth ahead of the Commonwealth Games and were parading her head around and I tried to cover it up with a blanket because I thought it was wrong then I woke up and I was upset for a couple of days

the weirdest part is that i'm a republican

Wow. That'd be mental. Can you imagine the public talking about the Commonwealth Games?

Had a dream a few weeks ago that the docs left something my guts after an op. I woke up in the morning and the first thing I did waa clinch my gut in relief that it was a dream. It felt so real at the time.

When I was little I used to have the same dream about some imaginary monsters every night. I still remember it so vividly. Also have dreams which contain moments that take place in the future, not big events, but they still eventuate and when they do my mind clicks and remembers that I've seen this before in a dream.
