I wonder what the percentage is in drive throughs, of actually getting the order right.

KFC Chelsea Heights, correct order 1 in last 5
Maccas Towerhill, got it wrong last time
Hungry Jacks Keysy got it wrong last time.

Not saying the communication is wrong, you are charged correctly, but the actual product delivered is different to that paid for, and not on the good side either.

What happened to reading the order when handing it over?

and KFC Mentone, don't go there often and reflects my lateness after playing basketball, but 2 of 5 sorry sir we're out of chicken

I remember the driver of a car i was in actually getting out of his car to get to his change. I p*ssed myself. I always thought the purpose of a drive-thru was to stay in the car whilst ordering food!

Oh, and kids on bikes going through drive throughs is always good!
On the actual topic, i've always had 100% success! Must be the superior hearing in the west!:D

Did you know in the past people have found band-aids, glass and nails in all that kind of food.

They get it right if you tell them the order 50 times.....and yell!

Oh, and Falchoon, I used to work at KFC and if you were there when they were nearly closed, it is not uncommon for them to have not much stuff left. Or even if they do have it, they will say they dont....so we can take it home and EAT IT!!!

The worst one I have found is the HJ's at Dog Swamp shopping centre in Yokine, I haven't been there for ages thankfully, but you used to have to repeat your order about 5 times before they got it right, one day I got so p***ed off because the girl kept saying a different thing to what I was ordering, so I went & parked, walked in & yelled, is there anyone in here who isn't f***ing deaf & can take my order properly, they finally managed to take my order correctly that time. :D

I couldn't believe it a couple of weeks ago when I went into Red Rooster on the corner of Ferntree Gully and Stud Roads wanting a couple of chicken rolls, only to be told they didn't have any!! I dont know what the hell they were going to do for the rest of the day as it was only 12pm on Saturday!!

Am I the only one here who always asks for a fresh lot of fries at McDonalds?? I find that they are much nicer than the usual crap they try to give you that's been sitting there 10 minutes!!

Cheers!!

It's real.

As part of my job when I moved here I had to learn the suburb names, I came across 'Dog Swamp' in the list and I'm like "what the... ?"

I was told there used to be a swamp there and all the dead animals used to be thrown in there, sounds like a wind up.

It's in the suburb of Yokine.

Yep it's for real alright, there is a swamp/lake next to it called Dog Swamp, so that's what they named the shopping centre, Perth has some funny suburb names, Innaloo, Upper Swan. :D

Same here! Jen and I went through the drive-thru at the Macca's on Howitt Street in Wendouree this morning, and just got a large fries. That's all-- we had errands to run on otherwise empty stomachs, and it hit the spot. Nothing wrong with that, either. :)

Cheers,
William

A few years back some friends and I went McDonalds but the place was full (one of those bus loads). So we went through the drive-thru. Old b*tch wouldn't serve us, so went around again pretending we were a car. We even did the engine noise, rolled down the window before ordering, etc.

Looking back, it was pretty lame. But being in yr10 we p*ssed ourselves laughing.

That's why she wouldn't serve you, you were too young to drive. :D

Would you like fries with that?;) :D :D

My days of eating that sort of food are well and truly over, but KFC was the worst - that stupid walkie-talkie radio kept breaking up and I could never hear a word the person at the other end was saying, and I'm sure it worked both ways. :(

KFC's in general have no idea when it comes to matching up what is ordered and what is actually given to the customer. Seems close enough is good enough.
