There are going to be a lot of people who will regret the whole tattoo thing.

I am amazed by the number of young girls who have quite large tattoos on their arms. It reminds me of a mates older sister who had the words "HUSH" and the initials "TMG" tattooed on her forearms (home job, ie razor blade and indian ink) as homage to her favorite bands when she was about 16.

As you probably gather, these bands are no longer popular, but she has this crap on her arms forever.

Same as these young girls with big tatts on their arms.

There was a story in the paper (Daily Telegraph) the other day about the cosmetic surgeons cahing in on tatt removal.

Never seen the point in them myself. Especially now that they are so common and all seem to look alike it's hardly a statement of individuality, creativity or rebellion.

Ive seen a bloke with a "Poison" tattoo and one with AC/DC spelt backwards on his back.

Tats on girls should be in places here they can only be seen when they are naked.

What was her IQ?

I remember a quote about Sebastian Bach from Skid Row. "He's gonna look like a moron when he's 50 and has 'Youth Gone Wild' tattoed on him".

If your going to get a tat at least make it something that will be relevant to you for the rest of your life.

I.e. name of your kids (or in Danny Greens case a potrait of your daughter), name of a dead parent or sibling or close friend, or even a sporting memory such as a premiership or something like that.

Getting stuff that is a passing phase tatooed onto you is extremely stupid.

Had a mate from school, who got his girlfriends name tatooed on him and they broke up about 6 months after finishing school. just stupid and pointless.

Knew a bloke in the Navy who wanted to get out early. The Navy said no way known was he getting out early. He went and got a tattoo saying "f-ck you" tattooed on the side of his right hand. Whenever he had to salute an officer, there it was. The Navy told him if he didn't have it remove, they would discharge him from the Navy. He kept it until he was discharged, then had it removed.

i had a tattoo above my butt,
"Made in Australia"
Had it removed.... it was one of those drunken bad ideas...

I'm planning now to get the Southern Cross on my shoulder blade and a Star on my ankle....

Dumb tattoos? Talk to my sister, she's 18 and has four of 'em.

And no Pess, she's not more likely to ... y'know.

How about that bloke from Jackass, with that huge tatt of himself giving the thumbs up. It covers his whole back, it's so dumb I love it.

As far as i am aware, a tatt is one of two things

1) simple body decoration - doesnt mean anything, just looks good
or
2) something with meaning and is important to yourself.

If you go with 1, then you are likely to be disapointed in later life, but if you go with 2, you will be fine

I want a tattoo so I can be different......... just like everybody else...

The ones I can't see the point of are the ones chicks have, just above their pants line on their lower back.

Why??

HAHAHA, that is a ****a. :D

Imagine going to the beach and seeing that, I would be laughing for ages.

Tattoos to me are a huge turn off. Imagine what it would look like when your all old and wrinkled.

I was reading some article and there was one guy who had the East 17 (90s UK boy band) logo with their dog tattooed onto his face.

Did you hear the one about the newly weds that were honeymooning in the West Indies?

Husband decides to get his wifes name tattooed on his clock; as a sign of his devoted affection til death do them part...

Her name was WENDY.

Anyway he was draining the lizard in a bar-room urinal when he glanced sideways at the private parts of this big black barbadon who was urinating next to him...

Noticing a W and a Y tattooed on the mans nether regions he says...

"Did you marry a Wendy too?"

And the blackman replies

"No mun,dat says WELCOME TO BARBADOS AND HAVE A NICE DAY..."

:D

As far as tatts go Im not in favour of them but each to thier own.

Guys I knew when I was in the Navy use to rub and rub and rub granular salt onto a tatt in order to remove it.

It bled and bled but it worked; leaving an unsightly scar.
