Not to great of a day to get out and about today with all the dust that has blown down from the north of the state. Hung around for the entire day here and visibilty was probably down to less than a kilometre.
Hopefully we can get some of that rain up here that's supposed to be coming and it can help get rid of it.

The dust was awful.
In our schools 'Green Area', which is now brown but that is a different story, the dirt was going everywhere because there was no grass or weeds to keep the stuff on the ground.

Bloody annoying it was.

What a beautiful day it was in Sydney today.

Blue skys and fresh air for a change! :p :D

We had a horrific day here in Loxton, right on the fringe of the SA Mallee. It was terrible, visibility reduced to 50 metres.
Poor farmers, I really hope they can recover from this - because again they've had all their nutrient rich soil blown away. All the benefits of the rain we had earlier this month have been ruined. Sad day.

WIth all the rain that we had last night, I think that the farmers would be safe

Sydney looks like what melbourne did yesterday atm. Visability is very poor and the its horrible to breathe.

I spoke to soon...

:(

It's pouring at the moment and we all need the rain because most of the state has water restrictions on at the moment.

During the '83 dust storm, for some reason I was listening to the races. The caller was in all sorts of trouble because he couldn't see anything but the last twenty metres of the race, so he had to fill in.

Good to see that despite your change of name, your posts are still just as stupidly irrelevant and juvenilistic as before.
I do not live in Ballarat, I do not live in Victoria - I live in South Australia - we had no rain, apart from some spits on the windscreen.
Learn about weather Suzi, just because it's raining where you are don't mean it's raining everywhere else.
