DVD rip\edit help

I want to upload a DVD onto my comp (Liverpool FC one) and sort of chop it up and get just some of the goals on there. How do i do it?

I can get as far as uploading it using DVD Decrypter, but i'm having trouble figuring out where to go from there. DVD Decryter spits out 2 files, a M2V (video) and a .vob (audio) files i believe.

I just need to find a program that will combine them together and then be able to cut out the parts i need into a smaller file?

Magic DVD Ripper is the best plan.

You can rip the DVD to mpg, (it will even let you split it up into multiple files to make it more manageable.)

Then you can use Windows Movie Maker (its part of windows) to edit clips etc.
