What also needs to be mentioned is that people have been trained over the last 5 or so years into thinking that it is difficult to go to the game, as it is usually full of season seat holders, and standing room gets packed very quickly. I think in the past youd get more casual attendance.

Now we have a bit of room, but the people, or groups of mates, that would have gone in the past, are just used to not going.

The club's approach to this inevitable downturn in attendance needs to be to make it as attractive as possible for the casual person to turn up. No extra ticket bullshit.
