The Herald Sun has reported that these Dogs could be up for trade.

Nathan Eagleton - the 24yo has struggled since switching from Port. Has been played mainly as a half forward impact player coming off the bench. He never seemed to warm to this role but found a new lease of life as a free running on baller in the 2nd half of 2003 and discovered some career best form.

Dogs would probably want a reasonably good player for him or use him in a bigger deal for a KP or ruckman.
--------------------------------------

Patrick Wiggins - 22yo 196cm Key forward. Has struggled to cement a place in the Bulldogs line up. Has shown glimpses of good form at senior level but has never really been given a fair go. Can take a strong mark and has kicked a number of bags in the VFL. Would benefit enormously with a change of scenery and a motivating coach.

Dogs would probably consider a lower level trade for another KP type or midfield tagger type that could also use a change of scenery.
-----------------------------------------

Pat Bowden - 22yo 190cm Forward. Showed promising form during the season and kicked 20 odd goals as a half forward flanker. Would be more damaging in a team that has a strong key forward structure where he would fancy his chanes against the 2nd or 3rd best defender.

Dogs might seehim as a mid level trade option or used in a trade with a draft pick for a KP.

Any interest?

Essendon could be interested in Eagleton. Bolton?
Done, unless Carlton's grossly inflated Bolton's expected salary.

The Doggies would love for that to happen but don't think those in charge at Windy Hill will be too happy.

Only way something like this could eventuate would be if the Dons were in Salary Cap trouble and needed a bit of relief.

The Eagle wouldn't be on as much as Bolton atm (and fair enough too after his previous 3 and a 1/2 seasons with WB ;) )

On the other hand, what could we reasonably expect to get from the Blues if (and it's a big if) they happened to show and interest in Wiggins so he can play with his brother?

Would a straight swap of Wiggo for Andrew Merrington (192cm, 90kg who seems to be out of favour with the Blues) be fair.

Peoples thoughts???
