However, how do you guys feel with Kosi as captain? He has had two excellent games back to back peforming that role. It appears to me as if the captaincy has lifted his performance.

On the opposite scale, I think the captaincy weighed down on Nick (not even going to bother spelling his last name) and affected his performance.

From an outsiders perspective, perhaps Kosi should be the next "full time" captain of Saint Kilda, if he can get his injury woes behind him?

I don't think the captaincy weighed down Riewoldt's performance as much as the captaincy coincided with injury weighing down Riewoldt's performance.

Kossie will captain St Kilda in 2006, I think he is the right man for the job, if his injury problems are now behind him (please god) he can finally show the football world why he is so highly regarded by the Moorabbin faithful!!

After about round 5 there was a thread on here about Brendan Goddard, it went on to be discussed that kosi and BG should be traded and basically they dont have a place in our side. Goddard i dont rate but i do remember comming on here and flying the flag for kosi. The kid is back now and every one is talkin him up, he is in no better form now than he was at his peak last year, the kid is a gun. Lets not forget he was a rising star winner not too long ago, if injuries hadnt taken the toll they had the last couple of years he would be rated up there with the leugues elite.
Lets not forget the media gravy train that bagged him at the start of the year, now all of a sudden he is a gun.
As for the captaincy Hamil should be captain, Lenny vice. Simple as that.

I have always backed Kosi and never bagged him through this tough time, i would like him as captain before Luke Ball, although i would'nt mind at all if Bally was our captain..
