The search function on the AEC website is currently down, so I was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where I can find out a list of locations for early polling centres for next month's federal election?

Thanks for your time in advance

I think the only way you can vote early is by post

That's not quite right. You can vote at early voting centres. Voting opens in them two weeks before the election. If you need to vote before that, then you need to lodge a postal vote.

As far as I can tell the AEC site doesn't yet have a list of early voting centres. The best bet would be to ring your local electorate's AEC office.

I can't do the postal vote early as my reasoning doesn't match the AEC's list of reasons to be eligible for it, and I'm too pussy to risk a fine, hence why I'd rather go in to an early voting centre.

Cheers for the responses so far guys :thumbsu:
