Hey I got the game bioshock for Christmas and yesterday I exchanged it for tiger woods, there is now a sale on for a pre-owned version of the game for only 50$, is is possible for me to return the game I bought yesterday for 95$ store credit and buy tiger woods and fifa 08 (which has also come down to 50$) 5% extra?
Or would they not let me buy the same game I am returning? or would they not let me return a game that I bought with money from a return?
 
Yeah I am definitely calling before hand to ask them to hold the two games I want, if I'm not allowed I will just buy fifa and smackdown...

Lol, Yeah I've heard nothing but bad things about the new game, I will look up the details about it tonight and if I will weigh up which is better out of smackdown or NHL...
 
Bioshock isn't just great, its game of the year. But if the guy doesn't want it, he doesn't want it i guess, as strange as it may sound. Guess he likes sports games more

If you return stuff to EB within 7 days you're usually entitled to a full refund. I do it all the time with single player games with no replay value. Smash it within a week then send it back.

Its certainly a strange thing to do no doubt, return a game then buy it again. But as Far as i know it shouldn't matter what game you buy back with the credit. You aren't trading, you're returning. Should be fine
 
Yeah I'm just not a fan of 1st person shooters, I'm not good enough at video games to play them, I can only play easy sport games...
 
i'd like to know where your EB is. i was in there just before christmas and was looking at the pre-owned games, they were selling one of them for $80 and the exact same game was next door at jb hi-fi for $40.

the same EB, has had a preowned game selling for $110, whilst to buy it brand new was $115. but that was a while back. what is the go with that?

Yeah Eb can be pretty weird like that, I go to the one in Fountain Gate, There were games that were 110 preowned yet the newer version (also pre-owned) was only 90... there was also PES6, two copies of them right next to each other, one for 80$, one for 40$
 
You can return up to 6 times I think......I found out when I had a DS and couldn't find a decent game. After 6 returns they said "You're going to have to keep this one, you've reached your maximum for this purchase"
 
You actually have until the 15th Jan to return any game to EB bought during December, as this was one of their christmas sale policies.
Return Tiger Woods 2008 for another game or store credit, then go buy it pre-owned (just make sure your EB has a copy of the game preowned on the shelf, as they will re-sell your returned copy of the game as brand new).
 
I did alright after all that, they let me return the game and buy the same one, I also traded in my ps2, 6 games, 2 xbox games and 1 gamecube game for 170$!!!, the girl stuffed up and gave me the money by their selling price not their trade in price....
So for my ps2, some old games and Tiger woods 08 I got Tiger woods '08, NBA 2k7, Dynasty Warriors 5: Empies, the elder scrolls 4: oblivion, the simpsons games, top spin 2, smackdown vs raw 2007 and 20$ cash...

My Tiger Woods 08 golfer is 110% on all attributes now:p Took a bit of grinding but i'm smashing all comers now.

Try out the Photo Game face function, its pretty cool. All you need to do is upload a front and side mugshot of yourself to EA's website, and the game will actually digitally reproduce your face and enable you to use it on a golfer in game. I was sceptical, but finally gave it a shot over the weekend and the result was a pretty uncanny resemblance. Looks pretty damn realistic (for better or worse:p).

Ummm, not sure. I have live gold so i'm not sure if it would work on the free silver live.

You'd certainly need at least silver live (free), which is easy to set up if you have a broadband connection to the internet, just follow the instructions onscreen.

You upload the photos to ea.com, then go to photo gameface in the game to download them to your xbox and render your face.

Well for anyone interested I would strongly recommend Endeavour hills EB...
All I have to do now is get my Xbox shipped off to get repaired, dam disk tray is on the fritz...
