Eddie's return = return to form

The return of Eddie from London will be synonymous with the return of Collingwood's "good" form. With the Swans match being the obvious exception, it's fair to say that our form over the last month has been patchy at best and shitful at worst whilst Eddie has been on his sojourn. Therefore, his return can only be a blessing.

I realise this is a massively long bow I am drawing and I must stress that I am only being half serious. So in saying that, do you think our form will return with the return of our Pres? Or perhaps you can think of some other kooky or weird reason as to why the Pies will return to form and give the flag a serious shake?

Lets see who can come up with the best reason as to why the Pies will return to form, be it serious or jovial ;)

Trav will sign in next two weeks and he and Dawes will lift and help us win the flag.

I agree that there could be something in it.

I think Eddie has been there long enough, has been successful enough, and has a sufficiently high profile to be considered a patriarch of the Westpac Centre.

I'd be interested to hear what other people's experiences are of working for patriarchial organisations, but in my own experience of working for them (four different ones), it makes a big difference between when the Grand Poobah is in town or whether he is away on a business trip. The organisation tends to be more focused, and more on edge when he's in town.

No need to back away from your theory ... It's a good one!

I must admit I was worried when he left.
We had nobody marking in the goals/behinds in The Record!

Who says it can't happen.

Judging by our horrid run of injuries, I'll believe in anything at this point.

Wasn't Eddie back before the North game?
I can't say for sure either way Shpeshal, but if Eddie was back before the North game, lets not let the facts get in the way of my incredible theory :thumbsu:
