editing players in saved games for footy fanatic

just wondering if u can edit players in footy fanatic??
i know you can edit the rosters but im half-way through 2002 and i was wondering if say next season i could rename one of my make-believe players to brayden shaw etc.
anyone know??

nope, once the career is started thats it.

it would be good to see the guy get an add-in were you can make it so that the players to be drafted in the first year are actual guys looking to get drafted.....
