How do you guys rate this guy? He seems to have lots of courage and is a good mark. Looks like he could hold a CHB position comfortably. Just wondering, would it be worth throwing him forward from time to time.

Been suggested before - not sure what he's like kicking for goal. Great in contests - can be beaten on a lead cos he's not quick. He could certainly mark on the forward line.

He's a great young prospect, very good overhead. It's amazing to think that this boy only took up football a few years ago.

He is Harley's ready-made replacement...

He seems to lose his feet sometimes though, but that is definetly fixable.

I think we expect too much from him - he's played less than 30 games as a KPP. He's achieved more than he ought.

I don't think it is too much to expect, it is just a small fault that will be fixed over time.

This kid is going to be very important...

Yeah, I agree totally. He's got tremendous courage and is probably the best in the team for taking pack marks (the Hawthorn game seemed to be an aberration in that regard), took a few tonight. Combined with Harley, Scarlett and Mooney and we've got arguably the best tall defensive combo in the competition.

I'm a fan - see post..

I must admit that I'e been disappointed with some of his games over our bad streak but I believe he showed a bit tonight and will be a valuable player for the next 5+ years.

Not bad for a tennis player who has hardly played the game.

Well worth persisting with.

Especially when Harley is fit.

Our defence was probably at their best last night. Egan has only played 26 games, but he is trustworthy and takes many good marks a game. When Harley is fit, we have a really strong backline - Scarlett, Harley, Egan, Milburn and a few smalls - Hunt, Wojac. And for thejester, we wont put Mooney in defence for a while if he keeps playing like he is at the moment at CHF, unless Playfair comes back or defence gets injuries.
