SO...got myself a new job which looks highly likely I will have to be well groomed for. My last job I could turn up looking like a character from "My name is Earl" but i don't think that's going to cut it.

I'm thinking a new electric shaver as using a razor takes so friken long in the morning and I value my sleep. What do you guys use and what could you recommend?

Don't be afraid to spend up on an electric shaver. Braun make good ones, cordless is the way to go.

damn straight a cordless is the key.

you can shave on the car on the way to work - thats what i used to do. but make sure you remember to bring it in and charge it overnight.

You will find that if it happens at all, having the shaver run out of battery mid shave on you will only happen once, because you certainly won't do it twice :D

the other piece of advise is to make sure you don't go too long without shaving as electric shavers tend to be nasty if you've got more than a few millimetres of growth.

Strangely, I have found that electric shavers actually give me a closer shave than razors. However, to get that close a shave, it actually takes me longer than I would take with a razor. Bizarre...
