Interesting.

He won the clean hands test at the combine and from reports, seems like and inside outside midfielder. Was injured so didn't partake in the carnival. My tip is probably Brisbane with pick 8.

looks like a top 10 prospect if he didn't have injury concerns. GWS should pick him up, they can take the risk.

It's a bit strange of him not wanting to go to North. Good, up-and-coming side. Perhaps his father is worried about North's facilities because of his hamstring issues, although their facilities are good these days.

Interesting. I wonder if it's something to do with the location of certain clubs? Perhaps his father has been discouraging interstate teams first and foremost, but also dislikes North for some reason? Pure speculation, but will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Maybe he posts here...should be easy enough to find him...

Kavanaghs dad is a dirty rotten manipulative person, North would be a great club, I hope your son makes it but hope you are not allowed into whatever club drafts him.

Take the bait.... ;)

(NB: this was tongue in cheek. no offence intended)

He can go to the dogs - a kid who lives in Williamstown shouldnt barrack for the bummers. Still time to repent and live his life right.

Story is that he want to go to the bomber, and their in his ear. Bit of josh caddy about it. North will pick him at 18 if he is there

Have I missed something - why wouldn't North be looking for talls (namely forwards) ?
They've got Black (1 game) and not much else coming through; with just about the oldest forward pairing in the league @ 29 & 28yo.

Cam Pedersen played some excellent footy for a first year player. We also have Majak Daw and Hamish McIntosh as forward/ruck options. There are high hopes for Ayden Kennedy, who spent last season out with an ACL. Robbie Tarrant and Lachie Hansen have both also played good footy at both ends of the ground, so the plan will be for one to settle down back and the other up forward.

We might take a tall at 40 if someone slides. Perhaps Paine, Elton or Dobosz. Otherwise, we have enough options to get by. Best available policy at 18 will apply.

Add to this that next year we would likely target a tall with our first pick in a draft without the eyes picked out of it.

Then there's the possibility of Luke McDonald in the 2013 draft, who is 188cm at 16 and whose old man is 194cm.

Kavanagh would finish off our midfield rotations alongside the likes of Wells, Swallow, Adams, Ziebell, Cunnington, Bastinac and Ately I reckon and add a bit of polish and class. I reckon GWS or the Dogs may nab him though.

True, I sorta had forgotten Tarrant & Hansen.
Still would be pretty surprised to see you go for a midfielder, seems a lot of (particularly) inside-type mids as it is; and a few holes elsewhere.
