Did anyone else receive these in the post ?
My dad received a brochure in the mail last week along with two scratch tickets (which actually looked really professional) from a group called Emperor Holidays.
My dad supposedly won $150,000 USD (reports on the net say that everyone who gets the tickets also gets a ticket saying they have won $150,000), but it's all a scam to get your personal details and money from you.
Bin them if you get them, my dad make the mistake of phoning them and even though they claim to be a travel agency from Malaysia they are very professional con artists and create an elaborate story of how you have won this prize by mistake and that the sponsors (GTA-HK) wont honour the prize unless you pay money to cover the lottery taxes and duties (it's around $3000).
Fortunately my dad woked out it was a hoax before passing on any personal information to them. Funnily too both www.emperorholidays.com and www.gta-hk.com domains were bought by the same entity on the same day (less than 2 months ago).
