Though I'm not real big on the chook chasers, I think trail bikes are softer and less hard edged than enduro bikes. An example would be, from Honda, the XR would be the trail bike versus a CRF their enduro weapon. The XR's are less powerful and heavier but more reliable whereas CRF's are lighter and more powerful but higher maintenance and I believe have a tendancy to burn valves.

Plenty of choice out there, what do you want? A 2 stroke, 4 stroke?, something you can register so you've got more places to ride. Also, what riding ability are you at? After all, it's not the best idea to chuck someone who is a novice on something like say.........a KTM 530 or a motocross bike.;)

Yer i'm getting a liscensed bike, only been riding a year but i can handle the bigger bikes. I'm interested in a klx 450f sort of bike.
