Shades of 2006 here boys, interstate teams dominating while we hold up Victoria
In all seriousness Essendon looks ******* good at the moment, if they had more match practice under their belts they'd have beaten Sydney
Taking it upto last years grand finalists with barely any preseason is a solid effort imo. I look at their list and they have solid senior players in Watson, Goddard, Coons and Stanton with their dinosaur Fletcher, then they have a heap coming into their prime like Heppell and Zaharakis and their KPPs are all in that group too like Carlisle, Hurley, Hooker and Bellchambers, if Daniher has a breakout year then that places them in an even better position. They have more players who can potentially become A graders and not just hover around the B grade level like say Norf. They often look good in April - be interested to see how they are travelling in August

Anyways, good to see us get a few wins, hope we have a season like 2005 where we can take it up to teams around and above us regularly, just hope for no blowouts.
He was super yesterday, I went on their board and commented on his thread this morning. He was their draft compensation for Crameri.Zach Merrett could be better then the lot!
Haha I did last night, love the look of him. Would you swap him back for Crammers? I would in a heartbeat! not that I don't like the Cram, there is just something about this kid that screams class! He was super yesterday, I went on their board and commented on his thread this morning.
