If you want to attend ANZAC Day game, heres a great idea that 2 of my work colleagues have acted on...
They went to the club today and purchased a memberhsip and reserved seat (cost approx $300) with the money they received from the Government Stimulus Package ($950).
There argument was as follows:
- They have never been members of Essendon before, despite always saying they would eventually buy one.
- They get a guaranteed seat to the Friday night blockbuster return game against Carlton at the G in round 13 as well as access to Hawthorn, Geelong, Western Bulldogs and St Kilda games - all home games likely to sell out at the Dome!
I reckon its a cracking idea.. In tough times, footy is something that always excites and and gives us joy. As one of them said, they will put the remaining $600 in the bank! Not a bad deal all round.
And entry to ANZAC Day.
