I'd like to take this moment to announce my resignation as captain of Queenslander.

It's been a fantastic year and a bit at the head of the club, and in that time we've managed to do something noone else has. Back to Back one day premierships.

I'd like to that every single player that played during my time, and apologise to anyone that didn't get much of a go.

I'd still like to continue playing, and i'm handing the reigns over to Quiksilva, unless he decides someone else should have the job. As such skipper kelly becomes the VC, and they can choose a new dvc if wanted.

It's been a great ride but i think we'd be better with someone else in charge. I simply don't have the time to keep the list at its strongest, as Gags leaving the club shows.

I wish us all the luck in the future and hope to remain an active posting player.

Thanks for your time.

Thats sad new EP, but your decision is understandable. Thanks for the 2 flags.:D

Anyway, in light of this decision, quik being absent for a couple of days and the fact that we have already lost gags, I have taking it upon myself to start some underground recruiting.

Any current queenslanders thinking of a move can they please PM me and we can either sort something out or you can move on with our blessings.

Any new players or current players from other teams wishing to move on and join an elite group heading for back to back to back in the one dayers and a developing test team, please pm me or any other queenslander.

Well done EP on a very successful career as captain of Queenslander, you were an awsome skipper and will be down as one of the greats of the game.

Another one bites the dust, boomp boomp boomp, Another bites the sut, and another gone and another gone and another one bites the dust, how many left now?

EP, one of my favourite captains, a great one day skip and the best bowling all rounder in the comp, well IMO anyway, I reckon you guys have a solid core, a good cricket team, good luck :thumbsu:

Actually.. Recent ponderings have led me to beleive i could still lead the one-day team, with Quik still being the actual Queenslander captain.

Of course it's up to him and if he'd prefer control of both thats perfectly alright, and i'll always be around to help out.

Thanks for the kind words. I've had a good run but most of it comes down to the players. We've been a great one-day unit and hopefully it will continue.

Sad to see a great captain stand down, very under rated because he doesnt have the profile of some of the others, but the record speaks for itself.
Quiksilva has some big shoes to fill, all the best

Sorry, been away for a week so this is a little late.

Sad day for the club, stepped up to show that he was one of the best captains in the league. As for my position next year, i will have to sum it up before making a decision.

I will deffinatly be playing for the QLD, but what leadership role i take is still undecided.

very sad to see, as Ep was/ still is an excellent captain, had the respect of all his players and his contributions will be missed, however Quick is a proven performer and has my support and will do a great job as skip.

Due to my slight inactivity and generally busy, i will be granting to captaincy of the Queenslander to Skipper Kelly. I will still obtain my vice captaincy and bat where needed.

I look to help the new captain with recruiting.

Unfortunately due to pressing personal needs I am forced to retire from this great game.

Thanks for the mammories my fellow brethren and good luck to all.
