I am going to Europe at the end of year for 2 months.

What are peoples opinons on when I should trade my Aus dollars for Euros?

There have not been huge fluctuations in Euro to Aussie dollar exchange rate in the past few years even though the Aussie has risen sharply against the greenback. Last time I was in Europe was over 2 and half years ago and the the exchange rate was around .60 Euros to the Aussie dollar - pretty much what it is at the moment. If interest rates go up here then you may get a better deal, but it's difficult to see or predict any great swings either way in the next 6 months.

If you've only got a little bit of money and you're staying at Europe for a short period of time then I just suggest you convert it all at once.
