Had my bag stolen today when i stupidly left it outside a room. Had my radio, mobile phone and other stuff like that. Really ****ed me off and made me real concerned to know that people can be that low to just take a persons bag.

Your thoughts on what has been taking from you and how that made you feel. Cos it really got on my nerves, not the stuff in the bag just that it is my stuff, you know what i mean.

i wish someone would steal my car.if i sold it i would only get $14,000 for it.if it gets stolen i would get $21,000

I know how you feel. My cousin tried to have his car stolen. He parked his camira near the 'G' with the doors unlocked, Windows down and keys in the ignition. When we came back after the game had finished the car was still there. But they did take out the car stereo...which is not surprising as its worth more than the bloody car.

Had my Stereo Detatchable face (x2) in the last two months.[I know i'm a goose why didn't i take it off?]

And the second time they stole my wallet of awesome cd's, fortunately most of them were burned.

This all happened when my car was parked on my own front lawn.

It ****ed me off and after i replace the face this time i'm gonna wait up until i catch the ****er and cave his ****** head in with my Adam Gilchrist Bat.

A guest at my hotel stole my mobile while my back was turned (pretty much). I knew it was him, he knew I knew, the cops knew, but because I didn't have proof he took it, they wouldn't search him or his room.

I later cancelled my phone, but found out from the operator guy that mr stupid phone stealer had used my phone to call his girlfriends mobile (which was listed on our computer as she was a guest!).

The two cops handling it go on a weeks leave. My file is put into 'the system'. Heard nothing since.

wtf?

My wallet (with bus ticket and a coupla bucks in.. not to mention a house key, and my library key) Stupid buggers.. yr 7 on my birthday.. and strangely enough, we were doing sport (this was at school) and my wallet was in the "specials box" or whatever you would like to call it (to put wallet, keys, jewellery in) so it doesnt get broken or stolen).. so much for that concept. Thought I had my watch stolen to, but my friend had taken it out of this box, and then taken it home.

Never trusted that damn box again, and haven't put an item in since. I did get my wallet back, minus the bus ticket and the money.. some time early in year 8.

Oh, and I managed to sleep through a burglary last year.. it was a curriculum day.. woke at about 12pm.. when dad came home.. and the house had been turned over.. we lost a total of 50 bucks.. :p (The bloke got caught, he had been randomly picking houses..)

Yeah, and it still rankles

In 1985 Robyn & I had our house broken into and ransacked, they stole some stuff, but they were stupid, they pinched a lot of older cheap jewellery, but left behind most of the expensive stuff.

The part that really got on our goat was the mindless damage they did, smashed windows, torn curtains, ruined furniture.

Robyn was most upset at the fact they had been through all of her underwear, she threw the whole lot out, she said she felt dirty, so that cost a bit, no matter

Also had my car broken into, they pinched the mobile phone, stupid bastards

Nothing like finding a couple of young burgs as you walk in the door after a day at the office to get the adrenalin flowing.

Some very swift justice was dealt on that afternoon - and managed to keep the video and stereo for my efforts.

We used to call thiefs 'tea leafs' in the navy. The rule was they tended to fall down open hatches, or have their fingers crushed(read broken) in the 50KG hatches when they where on their way to the MP. No questions asked. Only ever meet 1 thief in the Navy, he got taken of the ship for his own safety.

A guitar Amp from the boot of my car while it was parked out the front of my house. They broke into the drivers side door and popped the boot. Got another amp on insurance, but hated the fact that someone was in rumaging through my car.

had someone steal my wallet in about march, and bloody hell it is a pain in the arse. i dont care if they take the money at least return all my cards and everything.

the plot thickens though... i also had on my statement a purchase from Rebel Sport, Jindabyne for $460 in July. I thought the bank had just made an error. I asked for the sales receipt and someone had gone and used the card i reported stolen through a manual swiping thing, and the CBA, despite the card having been cancelled, still debited my account.

I cant wait till the day i get back. this is something i want to take up with the banking ombudsman.

Its always BAD when a friend steals something! A friend once stole $50 out of my purse when she thought I was asleep! we had been out all night drinking came home and when she thought i was assleep i heard her go through my purse.. thought nothing of it because i thought she was just getting her smokes which were in my bag.. next morning the $50 was gone.. she just denied it but I know she took it! She also stole $50 out of my friends purse!! another friend has stolen my discman 2 pairs of shoes and cds! I dont speak to either of them anymore! also Im not sure if its reallt stealing but he got charged with theft so who knows ;) but my ex took my car once without asking and wrote it off  was a 3 month old Lancer... I was soooooooo mad it took almost a year to get the insurance as well!

I never get stolen from. I lock my car and house religiously. If I catch a thief in the act, I will unleash massive amounts of deadly force.

Last Halloween (as it turns out) I had to work. I sat out a large basket of candy for people to take on the 'honesty system.' When I returned the next morning, everything was gone - including the basket. 5 bucks says one kid took the lot, but I wasn't vadalized, so evens out I figure. This year, I'm working again, and didn't leave out anything for the little vermin.

I've loaned a lot of things that were never returned. An ex-gf has a TV of mine. Also loaned out a guitar, DVD's, books etc. You're taking a chance with a loan. I have stuff too that I haven't returned. Again, evens out.

Peace,

 Anything else? ;)

I'm pretty lucky in that I've never had anything stolen that I can recall.

I tell a lie - some dropkick teenage kids stole a $2 note (back when we had them) off me when I was maybe 10 years old and had put it on a pinball machine to bags my spot while I went to get some change.

A cheap lesson that probably served me well in later years. "Don't trust the derro kids that hang around the pinny parlour." I've lived my life by that motto ever since.

Similar thing happened to my brother, he left the face on one night after work and someone broke into the car, smashed a back window and took the stereo and a wallet of CDs he had under the front seat. We heard nothing because all our living areas were at the back of the house and the car was parked out in the street. Funny thing is, no one else heard or saw a thing either. :o

When I was younger (12/13 I think), and at a Blue Light Disco, my wallet was taken from my bag. I told the police immediately, and they couldn't find it on the night. However, the next afternoon it was handed in to the police, so I got it back. It had somehow ended up in the bag of another girl who had also had her wallet stolen than night.

The other week, too, on my last day of school, we went to my friend's house straight after school to start drinking. I sat my wallet down beside my bag on the table, and there was probably $40 in there, plus all my cards etc. Anyway when we decided to leave, I picked up all my things and my wallet wasn't there. My friend's younger cousin is kind of...what would you say...has a reputation for being feral, stealing stuff, on drugs, in trouble with the cops all the time and whatever, and he'd been hanging around suspiciously. I started getting really panicked because we were looking everywhere for it and couldn't find it anywhere. My first instinct was to blame this guy, but I didn't say anything out of respect for my friend, and just continued to look for it.

Inside, this guy was making a huge, desperate effort to search for my wallet - too much of an effort, considering he barely knows me and wouldn't give a **** about what happened to anybody else. He was looking near a table and saying "nope, not here, not here...not here..." whilst the rest of us looked elsewhere. I think everyone, except the girl whose house we were at, knew exactly what I was thinking, so when the guy stopped looking so desperately and hovered near the table, another friend moves him out of the way, pulls everything away from the table, and finds my wallet hidden in a pile of clothes on a chair near the table. I didn't say anything, but I was just bloody relieved to get it back. Not leaving anything laying around there again - in fact I should have known better the first time.
