And it is true about it being the people ya least expect, found out on Thursday a bloke I used to chat too on UHF a fair bit in the late 90's & early 00's shot himself in the head with a double barrel in his loungeroom on Wednesday night.
Domestic troubles apparently, still a very big shock though.

I think that would be about ohhhh 7 or 8 people now I've known that have ended it.
When I was 19 I was chatting to one of my old school buddies, I'd known him since I was 5, in town one day, it was about two days before Christmas, and I got the shock of my life when I found out he'd took a pistol out and blew his head off about three or four hours after I was chatting to him in town.
Seemed a bit remote from memory, but certainly nothing to suggest he was gonna go and do that.
Would've been a horrid Christmas for the guy's family, a very religious Italian family and all.
Was gay apparently and felt he couldn't sorta come out to his family because they were quite old-fashioned like that, had drug debts as well.
Not good.
