A recent debate occurred at the House of Gumby between the Gumbies which has led to me approaching the greater Sweet FA community to garner their opinions.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you’d be well aware that the Great GWS Goose was somehow overlooked from the All Sweet team. This seems impossible, I know, but it happened.

Just reminding people, I was 3rd in the Mobbs, 5th in the Beez, top 5 for DT and EXIE stats and 9th in my very entertaining Rate the opposition thread. Dominant by any measure. Im sure some boring stats nerd (obviously I mean serial_thrilla) can confirm exact Exie and DT points

So, to the Debate.

I said “I can say without hyperbole, that me being omitted from the all sweet team is literally the greatest tragedy of all time”

Barrybran , forever the level head chap, claimed maybe I was overstating it. I pressed him for an example. He offered up the Holocaust, although initially I disagreed, once the emotion faded, I concede he was probably correct.

This led to us comparing this miscarriage of justice with other similar events to see where it fit in the annals of history.

As such Ill be reaching out to some SFA identities and seeking their opinion. If you are not contacted, you are either not prominent, boring or unlikely to answer in a manner I find satisfactory.

Barrybran , forever the level head chap, claimed maybe I was overstating it. I pressed him for an example. He offered up the Holocaust, although initially I disagreed, once the emotion faded, I concede he was probably correct.

This led to us comparing this miscarriage of justice with other similar events to see where it fit in the annals of history.

As such Ill be reaching out to some SFA identities and seeking their opinion. If you are not contacted, you are either not prominent, boring or unlikely to answer in a manner I find satisfactory.

I'm obviously a little biased because I have witnessed GWS Goose's quality for a while, but this is up there with the best OPs over the last few seasons.
