In the mid years of Geelongs development it wasn't unusual for Mooney/Scarlett/Milburn etc to be either suspended or on the verge of being suspended due to their attack on the man with the ball. We haven't been close. Sides now expect a 'hard' game against Geelong whether it happens or not. We need to start letting sides know that we aren't punching bags and if that means we lose some to suspension so be it. How will Titch feel running out with the side next week. Will he feel that someone 'has his back'? Note I hate sniping so I'm not encouraging that.
