North really wanted that tougher hitout against Melbourne - they are cherry ripe - (double dipped!)I’m hoping Brisbane makes a game of it

Crock thought it was a great preparation for next week, so.........Personally I think North would have preferred a nice soft prelim rather than a tough one.
They don't need toughening up. They've smashed teams week after week and come up against harder opponents and smashed them again.
R1 to R4 they won by a total of 247 points and then smacked Brisbane by 30 in R5 and Carlton by 53 in R6.
They are just a super side.
They are not exactly a young side either so a soft game would help them as its done most of the year.

She does have an assistant role in the men’s program at NorthKearney would be a very good get to be involved in our program somewhere.
I think one of the rarer traits in women in footy is being uncompromising, ruthless and intimidating while still being able to have the players on side. At 36 Emma would certainly be thinking about the next stage of her life and she comes across as having all of these traits plus she has a good footy brain.
Well, he said it twice, so maybe, odds are, he meant it twiceWould you expect him to say anything different.
Whatever game the Dees served up he would have said it was great preparation.![]()

So did Phillips while at Port Adelaide while playing in later years she worked with Port's mens AFL team to achieve her level 3 certificate. She does have an assistant role in the men’s program at North
Which probably meant it lacked conviction,Well, he said it twice, so maybe, odds are, he meant it twice![]()
At the start of the year you wouldn't thought any of these 4 coaches were likely to not be going around in 2026Now Stinear has left Melbourne.
What’s that 4-5 clubs looking for Coaches.
Adel, Geel, Sydney, Dees
I think he's parked the bus in SA for the moment anyway as he's signed with Glenelg for next season as their Head Coach.Still reckon we should bring Doc Clarke back home to Richmond.

Mon was the only one to make the AA squad, Ellie unlucky to miss making the squad, and although Mon in the top mids in the comp was not going to make AA with the year that we had, her own year was a good year without being great with a couple of stand out games as good as anyone's and she was still our MVP in most of the games.AA released No Tigers. Did No-one play well enough for a spot? ie Mon Conti?

No current season stats available
It's not that Mon wasn't good, it's just that enough others were better throughout the season. She's easily good enough to be an AA.Mon was the only one to make the AA squad, Ellie unlucky to miss making the squad, and although Mon in the top mids in the comp was not going to make AA with the year that we had, her own year was a good year without being great with a couple of stand out games as good as anyone's and she was still our MVP in most of the games.
Carlton’s list needs and trade targets after AFLW preliminary final exit
@KateSalemme November 25, 2025 - 10:05AM
After spending four years in the AFLW wilderness, Carlton has returned with a swagger built on youth, smart recruiting and an exciting game style.
Just waiting on the review results, hopefully it will provide guidence/direction & focus?!
Resource rich, application poor! What worries me is that we provide plenty of guidance and direction here and they never take any notice.
