Pretty much. I figure I have 8 slots to fill with mids (including UTL). Was quite happy to get Armitage when I did.

A lot of the forwards/backs I picked were guys who play in the middle a bit as well, ie few Key forwards/backs. That was the other part of my "strategy"

Be interesting to see how it goes.
 
My strat when drafting.

Best gun mid available at my first pick. Unless Patty still available ;) Griffen I think?
Gun Back - Gibbs (can also play mid)
Gun forward - Wingard (can also play mid)
Gun Ruck - Goldy
Then it was a mix of mids/2nd ruck (really happy with Ivan) and fwd/backs.
I really focussed on flexible fwd/backs with good scores for a number of rounds. Gave me more flex later in the pice to focus on 'best scorers' (probably more mids) given I could swing my side around based on what was left. not sure it worked but was happy with how it 'felt'.

Taking Tex was all heart... and could very well break me in this game :)

Have some holes, but I think I should be solid this year. With the bench I just took a hopeful eye to selections.

I love trading also, especially when its with your opponent for round 1. Its just setting each other up for some serious karma haha

What is the difference between bench and emergencies?

Correct.
Emergencies are to fill in for any players that do not play in your starting squad.

Bench is depth and their scores can never count.
Emergencies ONLY fill in for the position theyre in (like dream team)
 
feel free to send the Seizure Salads any trade requests you have...I'd like a decent back, but pretty happy to consider all (reasonable) trade options
