i've been looking for some for ages, but i haven't found any that are like what i'm looking for, however there are a few a can give to you, you may like one of them:

MTFFAFL - i have signed up with this as i reckon its the best one going around, however it still isn't quite what i'm looking for. This is exactly the same as the old AFL fantasy football, however, once you draft a player, he is yours and no one elses. Players score points based on their performances in the real AFL.

Simulate AFL League - i dont think this one is free, and i dont think it is that good.

World Australia Fantasy Football League - this one is exactly what i'm looking for, where results have nothing to do with a players real life performance, however, this is now defunct, but still useful to keep as a bookmark because it may come back.

The Australian Fantasy Football Super Leagues is the offspring of several fantasy leagues which came together to operate under the one site. Though the site is still being tweaked for the new season, it worked like a charm last year...all scores automated, very easy to swap players around and to communicate trades to other coaches.
