There is a draft competition where you pick players for points ala dream team however only one player per team and max 12 teams.

Go to www.fantasyfooty.net.au if you are interested then go into public leagues and search for the competition there.

the League is "Lionised" apologies to Brain of Morbius but you don't own that name anymore

One spot left guys. When the last spot has been registered I will set up the draft.

Everyone who is in the competition now please get prepared for the draft.

What you will need to do is pick players for your team and the computer will randomly pick a draft number for everyone and this can be viewed in the draft page once the last team has registered.

When the draft starts it will automatically pick the first player in your contingency list. To make a contingency list go to player search and click add for any player you like. You can change the order of your picks by simply moving them around in the contingency page.

Because the draft is reliant on everyone having a pick, please ensure you have a full round of contingencies so not to hold up the draft. I will put a time limit of 8 hours on draft picks in case somebody can't get to a computer. If you miss out on your draft pick because it has timed out then you will miss that round.

I won't start the draft until after this Victorian Long Weekend though.

some tips:
- there are four types of players: Backs, Forwards, Centres & Rucks. make sure you have at least one Ruck and look at players that may be played out of position i.e. F,C or R,F
- pointless mentioning this here but it may be handy not to pick as many lions as you can just for the sake of barracking. Plenty of good players for points from other sides.
- Whoever gets the first draft pick will obviously pick Browny!

Probably the same for me, although I might be able to get some done tonight (at half time). I can't do it here at work as they block out any gaming or betting sites. It's funny, one day I could get to the Herals-Sun supercoach game and the next day it's blocked!
