Now, this guy was my favourite at Melbourne for many years and I harbour ill feelings for the guy, but I wanted to get your opinion....
How do you think he will play this weekend?? It is against his old side, that he left basically because he was home sick. He has stated that he still loves the club and is still close friends with many of the boys.......so, I put this to you....
Do you think he can play a blinder, or will he be a bit "pre-occupied" so to speak?? I'm not saying he won't go out there and not play to win, but playing against his old club of many years that he left on a good note may hold him back a little. Just thought I'd get your opinion......also....
I like the loo kof Pav on Ox. I know Pav is a great player, but you underestimate Ox. He is not there to kick a bag, he is more or less there to do some bullock work and to patrol across half forward. We tend to go through Neitz, Vardy, Green etc for marks, and let Ox do his own thing. Pav will play well, but Ox will have an influence.
Also, the midfield battle looks good. We have Powell back to go with an inform Woewodin and Johnstone, with Yze, Leoncelli and J. Mcdonald as well.......but, Bell, Cook, Haselby etc will be tough to beat especially at home. Ellis will get Croad, Nicho will take Longmuir. With Biz out, Broadbridge will take the other tall, and also debutant Miller will take someone too. This guy will be a star.
Anyway, good luck to you, I'm looking forward to seeing if the Dees can get a win in WA!
