Good news :)

I think Fasolo has plenty of potential to be a very good footballer for the club and to be an important contributor when push comes to shove but I feel that certain parts of his game need working on, in particularly in his ability to put pressure on his opponent. His pace is something that can't be fixed and but I hope he has the footy smarts to overcome it regardless. Anyway if Buckley wants to implement a game plan where pressure is paramount especially in the forward line then Fasolo will really need to work on that part of his game but unfortunately his pace isn't great compared to other players in the side which might hurt him a bit.

His strengths are being able to find the ball and have a knack to score goals out of nowhere, he's a good mark of the ball and he's a great kick at goal. He needs to work on tackling pressure and the overall idea and emphasis of being less selfish when using the ball. I love the fact that Fasolo has that arrogant edge about him and he's confident which is an important trait in a professional footballer like himself but he needs to be reminded that the team comes first before his own interests and personal glories.

There seems to be many differing opinions on whereabouts Fasolo stands in regards to his chances of being in the best 22 or not. I've always felt he's always been on the edge depending on his form. At the moment I have him being on the edge of the 22 so it's important that if he does play on Saturday against Richmond that he shows something that will demonstrate to Buckley that he's worthy of a spot in the side come round 1 against Fremantle next month.

agree Woolj Fas is regularly underrated in his overhead abilities, a forward line that includes Cloke, Reid, White, Fas and Elliott is a real stretch for any opposition defense to cover.

Fasolo has a great overhead mark so i don't think it is underrated. I'm pretty sure most clubs are aware of it as well. If other clubs underrate his marking overhead abilities, they do it at there own peril.

Fasolo has loads of talent for sure. He does some eye catching things but so far.. never really enough!.. Bit like Daisy was in his first few seasons. Not sure playing both Fasolo and Elliot in the forward line would work though.. very similar players.. not overly quick and not overly defensive minded.

Same as Daisy in his first few seasons will do me doodles - discounting his sooky qualities and limp wristed approach to rehab Daisy could really play so if Fas lives up to Daisy's talent standards we have nothing to worry about.

Most young players take a few years to find their feet.

Is it wrong that i cant remember many of his games!!!

Keen to see him back , as someone said , will slot nicely into our forward line and give us that class and great marking target for his size

It'll be good to see him around again its felt like forever. That being said I'm not a fan of this backline malarky... He's capable of 30 goals a season and is one of the best users of the football at the club and personally I'd rather have that in the front third.

I don't mind having the versatility of swinging him back if we need to change things up, but would prefer to see him predominantly in the forward line. He has that x-factor which we have been sorely missing. I can understand the calls for him to be put back given we lack good ball-users down there, however players who have a real nose for goal and are not too predictable to the opposition are hard to find so he offers more value up forward.

If on his game he is comfortably in our best 22 no probs.I do not want no risks taken with him he has more x factor than anyone else on our list,we know that he has tunnel vision when it comes to goal but he is close to best kick for goal we have in the side.

If we can get him up and going the upside will huge for the club, with the improvement in some of our kids we will be nearly ready to fly,I get so exited about the future it is hard to contain myself.
