Or send 16 year old Taj Schofield out to play for the Magpie seniors against a bunch of fat SANFL 30 year olds who'll have no qualms whatsoever about getting physical with him.

OP is a nice rant and all but not sure what the realistic alternative is. At least we don't have currently listed PAFC players playing for other SANFL sides anymore. If the price we pay for that is Jackson Mead and Taj Schofield playing some junior footy elsewhere then on balance we've still come out well ahead.

We also have Borlase,Wanganeen and Wilson at Sturt.
Not to much we can do about it these days unfortunately.
But it still sucks!

Yeah but when they are 18 they can play at Port unless the day has a y in it or the month ends in an r or something.

What pisses me off the most is that if they are not quite good enough to be drafted but still good honest saNFL players we get basically them for part of year 18 year 19 and then they back to the snafl club no choice.

No chance to see them help build a culture amongst the club that they more than likely spent a fair bit of time around growing up.

Sorry, but this is our own fault! Shouldn't have gotten rid of the zones or our reserves side, we should've protested the rules of having to play AFL players over our SANFL players despite form. We now have an even worse model than before, yet you got the BS club propaganda of "we are port Adelaide's, always have been, always will be"... Yeah right, port Adelaide by name, that's all.
