Who do you think Lately has got the best father son players at there club, Geelong has got Gary Ablett Jnr,Matthew Scarlett,Tim Callan and probaly some more, also Nathan Ablett and Steven Blake maybe taken. Remember Collingwood picked up Brayden and Heath Shaw today to go with the two Cloke boys.

Son of Alan Johnson , Chris Johnson is set to join the Dees...

Brad Flower, Son of Robbie looked set to join at the begging of last season, but i havent heard anything since then.

Prepare to be disappointed, very disappointed.

Are you basing this on the Championships?

He really shouldn't have been out there. He required a shoulder reconstruction at the end of the Championships, and I wouldn't have been surprised if he was playing at less than 50% during them.

He has really only played one game injury free this year. That was for East Fremantle Colts, where he booted 5 goals and was named BOG.

I have a couple mates who play for East Fremantle Colts. So i'm down there at every game, and often go to trainning.
First hand account here guys.

I also seen him play in the East Fremantle league prior to him playing WAFL colts. He played for Bullcreek/Leeming if my memory serves me right?

Most overrated junior.
If you want the next Trent Croad, go for him.

Yeh, Daniel Chidlow was robbed that game of BOG.

Maybe, but 5 goals shows that he can play.

I have faith in Craig Cameron. After all, pick 36 isn't an awful lot to give up for him.

Some people are even saying that he would have gone Top 10!

Flower played for Donvale in the Eastern Football League this season which was just below bottom. He is nowhere near AFL standard, he has good pace but not got much on his father.

Demons opted not to choose him.

Watch out next year for young Bomber peake with Freo. Late Bloomer played amateurs last year but league with East Freo this year. One of the most prolific tacklers in the WAFL and is currently in the top 5 in the WAFL rising star after a slow start. Has improved 200% over his first year and if he is 80% as good as his old man we have another Buckley on our hands. :)

It's Mark Blake,not Steve.

We've also got Woolnough [now retired],but his career was ruined by injury.

There is another, but we choose not to mention his name.He also has a brother playing AFL who is just as bad.

At Carlton Jarrad Waite he is will be a gun player just wait and see we had Serge& Stephen Silvagni duo now we will have Vin & Jarrad Waite.

I hope you don't mean that Buckley is 80% as good as "Pasties" was. Not even the reverse is true.

At least his brother has some courage.

Our version is a pea heart.

Not necessarily, witnessed the game and from memory he was awarded definetley 2, maybe 3 down the ground free kicks.

He also had the oppurtunity to put the sharks infront with a set shot, 30 seconds on the clock and 20 metres out. Johnson choked under the pressure and south freo won the game

it hasnt "officially happened" yet (still to make his debut...), but brett & russell ebert is another great father/son combo.

for those outside s.a., russell won 4 magarey medals, & it seems brett will win it this year, at a very tender age.
