Expect him to get a game this weekend, was a rock again on weekend with a lot of pressure placed upon him, i know its hard to see how he can fit into team, but i think he might be put back and McPharlin used forward in spells, if Dawson doesn't play, the couch will have no option other than too play him.

Just a hunch but hes in undeniable form and plays the shutdown role like no other at moment.

I think with Ross hinting they'll be adjusting the way the team will be selected from here on in, to get matchups right, it's hard to see them rewarding form but sticking to who knows/plays the structures and roles the best. He deserves it, but I don't see it happening sadly

Agreed. It's a lot more likely that Lyon will use the Port game as a refresher for Dawson though.

Does anyone know what happened between the time he was awarded VFL Full Back of the Year and the time he showed up to Fremantle oval dreadfully out of shape?

It seems like it's taken two years to get back to that form again, it would be a shame for it to cost him his contract extension.

I'm not sure he is 192cm either. I've got a photo on the wall here with the tall guys lined up side by side and he is towering over Barlow and Dawson.
