Michael Laffy :thumbsu: Seriously my all time favourite is the big fella Richo :) Love the way our crowd rises when Richo goes near the ball. He bleeds black and yellow, what a passioniate man is Richo!!!

Royce - although i was very young,

the flea

and broderick in full flight used to give me wood, loved watching him dictate games from the middle of the ground. In an era of mediocrity I really appreciated the class Paul Broderick brought to the club

I used to think Royce Hart was the best, but I'd hate to admit it, KB has the record that speaks for itself. If anybody bothers to watch the 1967 GF, they'll notice that he actually won the game for us (as a teenager) and continued winning big games for the Tiges right up until 1980. Who could forget that final series where he single handedly destroyed Carlton, Geelong and Collingwood in successive games. If we think Richo has longevity coming up to 250 games, what can one say of KB's record!!!

Richo!!
I don't think anyone will ever compare to him in my eyes.
A true champion of the game.

Deliberate will agree with me here.:D

The Question was Favourite all time Richmond player
But if we want to say who has been the best then everything you said about KB is spot on
Sir Francis, Royce and Rioli are all up there as well

Sorry about the KB answer! I did misread the question in all the excitement! I did wear the no. 4 on my back as a kid and I'm the wrong side of 40, so it's .....Royce Hart!! But I love the passion of Richo man!! (wish he could kick straight though).

1. Francis Bourke.
2. Matthew Richardson
3. Dale Weightman
4. Jimmy Jess
5. Chris Bond

Dishonourable mentions to Todd Breman, Steven O'Dwyer, David Williams, Michael McKenna, Chris Burton, Daryl Sutton and Peter McCormick (yep...why you would recruit a pair of 30 plus year olds three years past their prime astounds me).

I am going to get flamed......but KB is the one , the dropping the ball holding the man interpertation was changed to curb his ball getting ability, he won two GF for us, played 403 games, captain, BF multiple premierships can you say more, whilst Royce Hart was a champion his longevity was nowhere near KB.

over the 45 years i have been watching and following i have sen some great players Richo is amongst them, sheedy, bourke, barrott, knighter, pretty boy raines i can go on and on

1. The legend that is Captain Blood
2. Tommy Hafey (the coach)
3. Royce Hart
4. Francis Bourke
5. Dale Weightman
6. Dick Clay
7. Kevin Bartlett
8. Mathew Richardson
9. Billy Barrett
10. Michael Roach

Too hard to call but must admit I have a soft spot for the (hopefully) 4 big R's from Tassie, Royce, Roach, Richo and now Riewoldt.
Maybe also
Skills: Rioli, Raines, Clay and Bartlett
Courage: Bourke, Roger Dean and the Kellaways
Biffo: Jimmy, Balme, Sheedy and big Mal
Nah its too hard.

Richo is my favourite all time ( purely on entertainment value)
Rioli was the best i have seen.
Francis Bourke was the epitomy of Tiger spirit (remember that)
Hart was the best game turner.
captain Blood - well obviously i never saw him play but his legend speaks for itself.

Being born in 77, the Flea was my hero until he retired. Nobody has ever given me so much joy in a season as Brad Ottens in 2001. I left every match with an erection - pity he decided to bulk up and ruin his career.
