Fax via Computer

I've just purchased myself one of those all-in-one copier-scanner-printer Lexmark machines.

I have a fax/modem 56.6kpbs.

I want to send and receive faxes through my computer.

What programs should I be looking at to make such a wonderous thing occur?

Don't use fax myself, but Windows has it's own fax software, although I don't think it gets installed as a default option, you can add it through add/removing windows components in control panel.
