Fev knocks back 3 year deal

Doesn't the story go that he was speaking at some country club and said that he'd knocked it back, leaving Ratts to answer to the footy public down here.

That was apparently on the news but I didn't see it myself. If it's so I'm FURIOUS again with him. Not just for knocking it back, but for opening his cake hole. Where's matty hayden for some good adjectives.

OH for god's sake, he's still a Carlton player, and as far as I'm concerned, he'll be a bagger for life, this is part of called 'contract' negotiations, there is nothign to worry about, but certain media outlets shit stirring ..

We all know Jono Brown ain't leaving Brizzy, but he's new contract (and most others for gun players) usually aren't signed until after June/July anyway ...

How ridiculuos. It's called negotiation and everybody does it. You have to do it. Your stupid if you don't - using your theory we'd have given West Coast Kennedy, Walker, Bower, pick 1, 3 and 18 an anything else they wanted for Judd FFS.

Why should Fev be grateful for any offer? Is he of no value to anyone else? Of course not - open your eyes and ears and join the real world.

There's a time for negotiation, and there's a time for loyalty. Fev needs to repay the faith the Blues have shown in him, and if the rumours are true that they've offered him a more than generous contract, there's no reason for him to "negotiate" or "drag it out". It's an awsome offer, why should he try and get every last dime he can out of the club? He should show some loyalty, repay the faith, and accept the more than generous proposed offer.

His situation is NOTHING like the Judd trade. Judd was an outsider. Fev has been a Blue all his career and has developed bonds with the club. After the club has stuck with him through thick and thin, he should accept the offer, not "negotiate" to get as much as he can from the club. As Nutcase said, it's not like he's been offered a pay cut. The offer is more than fair

Just reported on channel 9 news apparently Fev has knocked back a 3 year deal with the blues as his management are after a 4 year deal

Signed on with new management YESTERDAY.
