Would not have flown with a pneumothorax........would have been in Hospital with a drain to remove the air and re-inflate the lung.Steve Icke came on SEN and said that Fev copped a knock on the weekend and began to spit out blood.
Because we had to fly out the next day the carlton doctor to him to the Adelaide hospital for scans after the game. He was cleared to fly back with the team and has been training all week.

I haven't heard anything, but air between the lung and the ribs is a pneumothorax.........lie what that young bloke for the Dees had last year.
His was spontaneous where so much air gets in there it collapses the lung and you can't breathe.
Oh......go on ya big baby.And you forgot to mention that this hurts like hell! Pretty much feels like someone is stabbing you in the chest! Not that i have ever been stabbed in the chest but i did have a spontanious pneumothorax and it wasn't a pleasant experience!
