Fevola Fined, Didak Escapes

Fevola has been fined 2400 dollars due to his actions in our reecent match against Collingwood. While he didn't deserve to be fined I'm glad he wasn't suspended.

Now to the bad news. Didak's charges have been dismissed. This is absolutely ridiculous. If it were another player like Fev they would have got 2 weeks for sure. What are your thoughts on this?

Meh, let's not get too worked up about Didak. I'm sure someone will take care of him when we play the filth next year.

As for Fev, certainly didn't deserve to be suspended, considering it was more like a slap than anything else.

Im actualy over it now (didak), yeah, not fair on the players who have missed games for the same thing or less, but if he was suspended, it makes no difference to us, or to their finals IMO, the balls in our court, its up to us if they make top 4 or not, if we beat the swans, they are in the 4, if we lose, they are out, if they win their first final, the are going to end up playing either eagles of freo in Perth, Didak isnt going to make any difference for them over there, face it, their season is as good as over, like ours, bring on 2007.

What I find rediculous is that a little jumper punch by Bannister can warrant a 3 match suspension (Cut ot 1, due to great record). Yet, Dudak, can line up a player and knock him out, yet recieve nothing.

the difference is our president isnt a professional arse licker .. therefor cant suck up to the afl .. that is a absolute disgrace i spit on the afl logo ** spits ** what a disgrace our game has gotten too .. its down to an all time low this time well done boys

I can understand you guys being upset about him getting off... I was shocked that it was withdrawn too, although for some reason I'm not upset about it But to make comments like this is a disgrace. Where's your loyalty and compassion? Oh well, you can have a cry and never go to another game... you're only hurting the club you apparently support, not me. So do as you will.

Like I said, I was shocked that he got off as well... I can't help that they found it to be accidental. I'm stoked he got off though because we really need him in the coming weeks.

I agree the game has changed... but I don't agree that it's rigged. The match review board would have had a very good look at the incident and concluded it was accidental, where's the rigging there? Bannister would have copped the week because it was a deliberate strike, and Fev's fine, well I haven't heard anything about that so who knows.

I can understand you getting upset about something like this happening, and yeah I'd most likely feel the same if I was in your shoes... but I most definitely wouldn't turn my back on the club I love and say I'll never attend another match again. That is just pathetic. No matter how bad we play, I'm always there at the game the following week to cheer on my team, and I continue buying a membership each and every year.

The poster was venting his/her frustration at something he feels was totally unjust ...(which i agree with him) he is posting on the Carlton board ...where he is quite free to vent his frustrations . he/she does not need a Collingwood supporter (of all people) telling him how he/she should feel .
