Just like to say that I was there last night and was rapt to see the gesture Fev made to Cuz after he pinged his hammy. It was full of class. I'll be looking at the big fella in a different light from now on.

Yes, it was good to see Fev show respect and compassion to Cuz. I really did feel for Cuz and Richmond fans when he did it. He looks to have really tried to get his life and footy back on track, and I admire how the Tigers were willing to give him another chance.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery Cuz :thumbsu:.

People bag the crap out of Fev but one thing's for sure Fev is compassionate. The amount of time and effort he puts into events where kids are involved is amazing.
I'm glad people are seeing the OTHER side of Fev,makes a nice change:thumbsu:

Poor Benny. Stuck at Richmond and with a bung hammy. Can't get any worse.

Well, let this be a lesson to you - if you do drugs, you'll end up at Richmond.

Not surprised by Fev's gesture. He's a good hearted guy. Hopefully Cousins can get back, but it looked like a bad one. Thought he was the best of the Tiges midfielders early on. I doubt he'll get close to his best again, but his disposal is still good, as was his attack on the footy. No reason why he can't play 1-2 years of decent footy for the Tiges. :)

I think the worst thing for Ben is that it's the same hamstring that he tore from the bone in the last game he played for West Coast.
That can't be a good sign...

I think most people feel the same about Cousins' hammy... on the one hand it was always a risk and many people's thoughts on his 2009 were "he'll be good... till he does the hammy". But that doesn't mean anyone is HAPPY it happened. You'd rather it didn't.

You're forgetting to add in the finer details between his time at West Coke. You know, how he became a whizz head and went to Richmond. :thumbsu:

Sure, I respect what he did as a player at West Coast with his on field performance, but he's shown sh*t all at Bitchmond, and frankly, this is karma in its purest form.

Well done Fev, you're all class.
Saw it live at the game, and thought it was just a good thing to do.
I'm still waiting for the HUN to write about Fev laughing at Cousins. You know, just to twist what he says that much more.

Don't you just love the media?

After Cousins got up, Fev went over to him and placed a consoling hand on his shoulder

Maintain the bitterness. You can stir it gently with the spoon you get this year. Pathetic.
