Kelly:
Use to love the way he plays hard and tough with some flair and skill. This season he seems a shadow of himself. WOnt show any respect to his opponents and is not getting forward at all. Seems to have too much ego these days.

Hunt:
From the moment he did that stupid face with that stupid facial hair you just thiought that could fire them up. Well Josh it did.

Rooke/Ottens/Mooney/Bartel/Milburn:
Least you 5 show some heart out on the field.

Chapman/Ablett:
Our only 2 genuine stars who actually turn up when the game gets tough. Both arnt downhill skiers which seems to be rare amongst this group.

I'll make a few comments, and not much of it is complimentary, after seeing our game against Melbourne:

Paul Chapman: the only one who busted his gut for the whole game. If all the players had his passion, we wouldn't have lost four in a row. Shouldn't have to carry the load every week.

Steven King and Tom Harley: Sick of them being injured. In this modern game, teams can't afford to carry injured players. If King and Harley can't come up, they should retire, so that we can bring up a couple of young players off our rookie list. At least those kids might play on the ground every week, instead of sitting on the sidelines.

Henry Playfair: People rave on the internet about how good he is. I tend to disagree. He is , by far, the most overrrated player at Geelong. Can the guy kick accurately at least once in a while. He never turns a game on it's head. One of the commentators on the radio nicknamed him "Hank". I would replace the "n" with a "c". He may be good value on the trade market, however.

Charlie Gardiner: Who did he sleep with to get a game? Tries hard, but not up to AFL level. Even his best efforts won't turn things around.

Mark Blake: Kept out of the side because he is a "one-positional" player. At least play him in the ruck, so that Ottens, Kingsley, and Mooney can go up forward. With Blake, we don't need to play Ottens or Mooney in the ruck, which throws out our team. If Blake is beaten, put him on the bench. Better than waiting for Steven King to go five seconds without getting injured.

Geelong: We were great in the NAB Cup, and first two weeks, but have been poor the last four. Against Bulldogs, and Sydney, we at least tried. Last night we didn't bust a gut at all, we're too slow, over-handball, have a lot of inaccurate goal-kickers, and generally didn't care. Obviously, losing the final against Sydney didn't hurt them enough. Look at Essendon. In 1999, they lost a final they should have one. The next season, they lost one game. Why? Because they wanted the flag they felt that they were denied the previous year, and didn't let anything stop them. They said they'd do it, and they did. We say the same thing, but it's all talk. Don't tell us what you're going to do, do it.Only then will you get the right to brag. The NAB Cup win seems 100 miles away at the moment.

Mark Thompson: His post-match address last night should have gone:" "Other than Paul Chapman, and one or two others, don't tell me you were hurting from the final last year, because that effort says otherwise. Why don't you stop talking about how much it hurt you, and put it into action. But no-one seeing that performance tonight would believe you".:thumbsd: :(

According to Ottens on K-Rock last night, Bomber was not very upset, and just stated his disappointment in the boys.

Spray, much?

I have never heard one person rave about how good Henry Playfair is. Rave about how important he is, yes. Give the guy a break. It's his first game back from a shoulder injury and he had more influence on the game than Kingley, Lonergan or NAblett have had in a long time. Get another look at that mark running back with the flight - he's a keeper, we don't have anyone else that can do that.

It pains me to say it, but Gardiner has been our best forward target over the past two weeks. I hate how he goes to ground, I hate how he is weak in a contest and I hate how he is unable to use the ball properly. BUT, without him for the past two weeks, the ball would have rarely made it past half forward. He presents better than any other player and at the moment, we need him.

Yeah, he has been much better than GAJ and Chappy!!!!!

The guy works very very hard in presenting and re-presenting but when the midfielders hit him on the chest, he spills it, falls over or generally stuffs it up. If he does when the pill, his eyes dart everywhere which way because he knows he is about to stuff up, then procedes to chip it to an opposition lead.

This guy needs to be delisted comes season end. He is a stupid stupid footballer.

It just amazes me that the other players kick it to his leads but when Nath is in the side presenting, they ignore him. I dont get it. Wake up boys!
